Polaroid Summer

Summer is ever so slowly warming the cool damp corners of my world. I've been playing around with Poladroid again... I think there is something about summer (or perhaps only the longing for it) that makes me want to see everything from a hazy polaroid point of view....

That fantastic abandoned (haunted?) house is one of the many things I adore about my new neighborhood. How I want to sneak in and explore...

Happy First Day of Summer!

Lovely! I really like abandoned houses. I think I have some photos of factory ruins in my parents' town, I should make them into polaroids too :)

I love that abandoned house! There are so many like it up here. I love these photos, especially the lilacs.

I love, love, LOVE these shots Laura! And you've given me the urge to start using poladroid again too. It was you that got me started on it in the first place, and I was addicted to months afterwards. These days I hardly ever turn it on because if I do I'll end up running nearly all my snaps through it!

On a sort of related note, reading your blog always reaffirms my desire to visit you're neck of the woods. I've relations in Vancouver and ever since I was a kid I've wanted to take a road trip the whole from Mexico right the whole way up to them. That'll have to wait till I win the lotto, me thinks, but looking at these photos reminds me why I wanted to visit the Pacific North West in the first place.
